It's back! Part party, part runway show, part epic costume contest, ART AFTER DARK returns October 26, 2024.
OMA’s signature after hours event, ART AFTER DARK transforms the museum into a creative hub full of awe-inspiring wearable art costumes, live music, inspired spooky good libations, and the largest costume contest in the tri-county region. It’s the one-of-a-kind ‘art party’ of the year. This year's event is inspired by our exhibition, Transformative Currents: Art and Action in the Pacific Ocean.
ART AFTER DARK is a 21+ event.
EARLY BIRD PRICES
General Ticket $115 (through September 22 ) | Ticket $135 (September 27 - October 26)
Ticket holders are all welcome to enter into one costume category of their choice, or cheer for their choice in the Audience Favorite category. All ticket buyers will receive an email asking if they would like to participate in a category and will receive follow-up instructions.

Enjoy private event check-in and exclusive access to the VIP lounge housed in the historic Oceanside Fire Station #1 for a sneak peek into OMA's future expansion. Cocktails, drinks, and bites are included with this exclusive access, as well as front-row seats to our annual costume competition. Costumes are not required but are encouraged. All are invited to take a chance to enter the competition!
AAD VIP MUSE $500 (for one)
Enjoy private event check-in and exclusive access to the VIP lounge housed in the historic Oceanside Fire Station #1 for a sneak peek into OMA's future expansion. Cocktails, drinks, and bites are included with this exclusive access, as well as front-row seats to our annual costume competition. Costumes are not required but are encouraged. All are invited to take a chance to enter the competition!
On top of all that you have that great feeling of supporting the creativity in our OMA community. Proceeds support the museum exhibitions and general operating funds. You also enjoy a $400 tax deduction and will be sent a follow-up letter with our Tax ID number for your records.
