In Conversation: Manuelita Brown and Dr. Denise Rogers

This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday February 25

7:00 PM  –  8:00 PM

Join us for a virtual conversation with celebrated sculptor Manuelita Brown and art historian Dr. Denise Rogers of San Diego Mesa College as they discuss Brown’s artwork and influences in anticipation of her featured work in several exhibitions at OMA this season. Explore the story of a singular artist and learn about her philosophy on artmaking and process, diving deeper into the many connections her work weaves with both past and present through community-focused dialogue. This program will be hosted by Alessandra Moctezuma, curator of the upcoming exhibition Twenty Women Artists: NOW opening at OMA on March 13, 2021.

You will receive two emails after completing enrollment. One will be a transaction receipt and the other will contain your link to connect online to this virtual artist talk. Additional reminder emails will be sent a few days before and on the day of the event.

At OMA, we strive to make the enrollment process as user-friendly as possible.
